Tesla offering US military buyers $1,000 discount on the Cybertruck

Tesla is running a special promo for the Cybertruck as it offers buyers who are serving in the military a $1,000 discount. The company launched the new deal on its website last week.

Tesla’s Cybertruck has lots of admirers, including in the military. To persuade the people in the army to buy the steel electric pickup truck, Tesla has started offering a $1,000 discount. The EV maker recently included the Cybertruck in its online Military Purchase program.

With the program, military buyers, both serving and retired, can save $1,000 when purchasing any of Tesla’s EVs, including the Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y. The inclusion of the Cybertruck means all Tesla’s models, excluding the Tesla Semi, are now covered by the program.

According to Tesla, “Receive $1,000 off any new Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck. Offer available to military veterans, retirees, active duty members and their spouses to honor those who have served our country. Discount applied when you place your order. Unlimited availability.”

The discount is offered on the Foundation Series version of the Cybertruck, the first edition or set of units made by Tesla. The company will continue to deliver the Foundation Series Cybertrucks until near the end of 2024, contrary to rumors that they will soon end. Tesla said it would continue with the version because of high demand.

Meanwhile, Tesla has made ordering available for the Cybertruck on its website without making buyers pay any reservation fee, which was previously $100. New orders are estimated to be ready for delivery between September and December for two trims, dual-motor AWD and tri-motor Cyberbeast, after using the online configurator to design their truck

Tesla has also opened up orders for Canadian and Mexican buyers.

Tesla’s Cybertruck production has steadily risen in volume since Tesla started making deliveries in November last year. Tesla estimates it will begin making a profit on the truck early in 2025.

Another promo many Tesla owners can take advantage of is offered by Fusion Motorsports on one of its Model 3 and Model Y accessories. The Tesla 7-inch rear entertainment screen is going for up to 47 percent less in a special promo. The high-resolution display offers endless entertainment options to keep everyone engaged and relaxed, even on longer trips. The sleek design blends with the rest of the Model 3 and Model Y interior.

Meanwhile, Tesla owners in Los Angeles will soon have a futuristic destination to drive to. The automaker has started hiring as it prepares to open its drive-movie diner in the City of Angeles.

The complex offers restaurant services along with a drive-in movie theater and Superchargers.
